Heavy Duty CX Lead-Calcium batteries – dry charged

MTF battery (Maintenance Free Type), A.G.M. (Absorbed Glass Matting) – dry charged

This type of battery comes dry charged with model specific acid pack/s. (If two acid packs are supplied with the battery, both are required to complete the initial 'wetup' procedure).
Once filled, the battery is sealed and no further maintenance is needed, providing the charging system is operating correctly. If excessive over charging occurs, top up with distilled water.

Sealed Activated battery, A.G.M. (Absorbed Glass Matting) & POWER GEL – pre-charged at factory

This battery is sealed from the factory and is ready to be installed with no further maintenance required. The battery voltage should be checked prior to installation and charged if required.
The big advantage of this type is that it is designed to work in the "up right" or "lay down" position.
